Role & Responsibilities

I guided the redesign of the updated map view for territory representatives as well as the functionality-heavy tools associated with the map view. For this particular project, we had to tackle how to display a dense amount of data within an expandable panel area, and understand the actions representatives needed to take from a particular view. To accomplish this, we built and tested many prototypes with stakeholders and territory representatives.

The Challenge

Pharmaceutical companies and sales representatives seek out robust territory planning tools that are quick and easy to use while also providing access to real-time data points across personnel, revenue, and change recommendations.

Goals

Deliver a territory planning application with updated and new functionality alongside a net new design system for all applications in the ZS product portfolio.

Design Process

The existing application (then known as JAMS - Javelin Alignment Manager) had not be redesigned in years, and had severe performance issues in addition to missing functionality that competitors had started to incorporate in their products. Since there are multiple products under the Javelin umbrella, we had to create a design system that would scale across all of them, taking into account the different functionalities of each application.
